Submitting an Enquiry About Result (EAR):

If a learner believes that their examination result does not meet their reasonable expectations, they have the right to submit an EAR. The EAR must be submitted within 20 working days from the date of receiving the examination results notification. To initiate the EAR process, learners need to complete the online EAR application form and make the required payment using a debit or credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):


Question: I have entered my learner details on the form but cannot continue to enter my examination details?
Answer: Ensure that you have entered the learner number, learner first name, and learner last name correctly as per your NEBOSH record. Verify that you have provided a valid email address. Make sure that the EAR submission closing date is not in the past.

Question: I have entered my examination details on the form but cannot continue to make payment?
Answer: Ensure that you have selected an examination unit for which you have received the results. Confirm that the EAR submission closing date is not in the past. Note that you cannot submit an EAR for a unit for which you have already submitted an EAR. If you are requesting a Type 2 EAR after receiving a Type 1 EAR outcome, refer to the Enquiry about results policy and procedures document for instructions.

Question: I have entered my payment details, but the payment has failed?
Answer: Contact your bank to ensure that your payment card is 3D Secure compliant. Enable pop-ups on your computer/payment device as additional security prompts might be provided through pop-ups. Double-check that the name and address entered in WorldPay match the registered details of the payment card.

Question: How do I request a batch EAR via the online form? (Learning Partners only)
Answer: Batch EAR requests cannot be submitted through the online form. Refer to the Enquiry about results policy and procedures document for instructions on requesting a batch EAR.
